I’m so excited to be planning and preparing for my first art show. Alongside the excitement is a nervous feeling in my stomach, will anybody show up? will they like my art? This is an adventure into the unknown. I always have the support of my family and friends, and that feels great. However, I am anxious to see what complete strangers will think of my art. I am looking forward to hearing what they have to say, to watching their faces as they scan the paintings and settle on their favorite painting, and to creating a connection with people simply by sharing the love of art.
